WHO WE ARE
ACL Energy is an independent energy infrastructure developer focused on stand-alone battery energy storage systems. Founded by experienced professionals with more of 30 years combined experience in technical development and business development for RES and battery storage projects.
ACL is focused on greenfield opportunities to lead its projects to a high-quality Ready-to-Build (RTB) Assets and owns an active pipeline > 5 GW of which 3.5 GW with grid connection secured.
MISSION
Climate change is the core global challenge our society is currently facing. A deep decarbonization must be achieved to tackle this challenge.
At ACL Energy, we can and will play a crucial role accelerating energy transition for Italy, enabling renewables integration in the national energy mix.
ACL is willing to become a long-term investor for part of its projects pipeline, becoming committed to the whole life-cycle of the projects.

5+ years experience in business development in energy industry utilities and investment companies active in solar PV, Wind and biomethane.
BSc in Financial Markets and Institutions, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
SAVERIO CALABRETTA
Partner – Project Development
7+ years experience in Project Development for Solar PV Assets in Italian Market for energy utilities and international renewables developers active in the energy sector.
MSc in Energy Engineering, Università degli Studi di Padova
NICOLA LOCASCIO
Partner – M&A and Strategy
5+ years experience in Market Analysis, Strategy and Energy Management across several EMEA, US and APAC Markets for IPPs in the renewable energy sector.
MSc in Markets and Business Strategies, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
GIOVANNI SARACENO
Partner – Technical Development
25+ Years in Renewables Technical Development and Grid planning of RES and batteries. Giovanni is CEO of 3E Ingegneria with solid experience in electrical engineering for the Italian Grid.
